Jeanne Steding has worked in all aspects of acting. Some of the highlights in her acting career includes playing the role of Stepmother in Cinderella on stage, making a commercial with her dad and sister for New England Oldsmobile and doing a print shoot for Red Book Magazine with her best friend in college. She has had the privilege of doing numerous commercials, industrials, and films as well as print jobs.
Although Jeanne has her Master's in Reading and has spend many years in the school system her first true love is acting. (Don't tell her students that they all think they are her first true love.) She has studied acting in both Miami and Orlando with various studios. She thoroughly enjoys working with Karen Storms, the Cast's acting coach. She believes you can never learn enough so she continues to work on her craft. Palmetto is an exciting adventure for her because it is the first continuing series role that she has ever played. She is anxiously looking forward to finding out where her character will take her next.
Grandma Hamlin can be just as ornery as the wicked Stepmother and just as sweet as a southern bell. She enjoys her granddaughters even though they can be a real challenge for her. The people of Palmetto respect her age and wisdom and knows that she truly loves them all.
